I can’t help but wonder if Apple didn’t have some pull in getting this working. I know a lot of people are unhappy with the current POP3 implementation of GMail on the iPhone, and it’s actually put me off getting one. Now if Apple would only enable IMAP IDLE support on the iPhone for true push e-mail, I’d ditch by BlackBerry Pearl in a heartbeat…
