You truly do have much to be proud of:
- Electing Ted Strickland as Governor and electing Democrats to almost every other state-wide elected office ending over 16 years of complete Republican control of Ohio.
- Passing Issue 5, Smoke Free Ohio, which will make all public places in Ohio smokeless starting December 1.
- Passing Issue 2, a mandatory increase in the minimum wage to $6.85 with increases yearly with inflation, giving everyone a livable wage.
You’d almost think this is a different state completely than the one that voted Bush back into office and passed the most oppressive gay marriage amendment in the country in 2004.
