One of the nice things about having digital cable is being able to watch The National Geographic Channel. It has to be one of the most outstanding channels on cable. I’ve been a longtime subscriber to the magazine which I have always loved; it’s nice to see the same level of excellence go into the documentaries on television.
Now I can only hope Time Warner decides to carry the HD National Geographic channel.
Yesterday I stood in line to get my flu shot. The line twisted and turned all around the Cleveland Clinic office in Willoughby Hills. People trying to fill out forms, legions of elderly standing in line complaining about standing in line, crying babies, and lots of interesting people watching.
After 45 minutes of waiting in line, it took 3 seconds to get my shot. But at least now I won’t get the flu.
- I discovered Facebook.
- While shopping at Banarepublic.com, I noticed that Gap has a new online shoe store called Piperlime.
- Corn Chex cereal is just awesome.
- Philadelphia Ready-To-Eat Cheesecake Filling may be just a little too ready-to-eat.
- I may end up going to Macworld 2007 with Adam and Ryan.
Reading one of Ryan’s posts, it reminded me how much I love winter. I love being able to wear sweaters, getting bundled up in scarves and gloves to go outside, and sleeping with lots of blankets. There’s something just comforting about being inside wrapped in blankets while it’s snowing outside.
I might be a little weird, but I’ll admit, I love winter.
Never believe your teachers if they tell you that you’ll use algebra in your daily life. They are liars.
Little People, Big World is back on TV for its second season. It’s just fascinating to watch how this family gets by and all the creative ways they find to do things.
So I came to my blog and realized I haven’t even posted an entry in the last four weeks. Bad Bryan!
Work’s been crazy busy, this is probably the hardest semester I’ve had in school so far, youth group and choir started again, and we moved.
Today, however, is my relaxing day. I took the day off to go out to lunch and shopping with some friends. I really need to do a better job of taking time off more often…and making sure I don’t check my work email while I’m off.
