Vox Populi

I would really love a Vox account. If anyone has a way to invite me, I’d appreciate it! )

Update: Someone was nice enough to give me an invite. I’ll post a review of the service in a few days.

Yoga

So I’m considering taking a Yoga class that they offer through the fitness center at work. I think it will be a good way to work on flexibility and stress reduction.

Anyone try it? What did you think, would you recommend it?

Is it chicken or fish?

Thank God that “Chicken” George was nominated for eviction last night. He really needs to go.

Eureka!

Yesterday was a day filled Geocaching with some friends. While it started out cold and rainy it actually ended up being quite a nice day to be out and active.

Our first cache location was by far the most difficult of the day. The first step took us to a historical plaque near a bridge where we needed to use the information there to unravel the final coordinates of the cache. Whether due to rain or illiteracy we ended up putting the wrong coordinates into the GPS. The subsequent adventure had us climbing up cliffs, under the bridge, down different streets, and to another bridge. After almost 2 hours of walking and searching we decided to recheck our coordinates.

Once we plugged in the correct ones, we realized we needed to walk across the bridge. On the other side was a duplicate historical plaque, and behind that was the hidden cache. Quite the adventure!

The subsequent 3 caches were much easier to find, but just as fun none the less.

What Dreams Are Made Of…

Who would have ever thought I would be using Dreamweaver on an almost daily basis for a living? Certainly not me.

Cleveland to host Republican National Convention?

Now this would be interesting:

In the past, many people would have laughed at the notion of a national political convention in Cleveland, but now there is a very real chance that the 2008 Republican National Convention will be staged here. This would be an enormous coup for the city, not just because of the visitor dollars, but even more importantly because Cleveland would become the focal point of the worldwide media, reported 5 On Your Side anchor Ted Henry.

The clock is running for Cleveland to come up with a plan to be chosen as the site for the GOP convention.

New York, Minneapolis and Tampa are also in the running, but of the four, Tampa and Cleveland are widely believed to have the best chances.
