So I wanted to take a moment and wish everyone a Happy Memorial Day! Boy it’s been a while since I’ve posted on here, but it’s always easy to forget when life gets busy.
Let’s see what have I been up to. Took my finals for my first 2 classes, got A’s in the classes. Yay me! Work has been extra busy lately with all the new responsibilities I have because of my project. I had the flu. My first summer class started this week, it’s a super-accelerated 5-week course that is kicking my butt, my 2 other summer classes don’t start until the middle of June.
I also want to wish Ryan a happy birthday!
I noticed yesterday that people that walk around with those stupid bluetooth headsets on annoy the hell out of me. Why do you need them in, are you really that important? I mean there were people even wearing them while they were eating. I’ve decided that I will just refuse to acknowledge anyone who tries to talk to me while wearing one of those things.
I really want one of the new MacBooks. Anybody want to buy a slightly used 12″ iBook G4?
Is it just me or does anyone else think the recent change of heart about Libya has way more to do with oil than anything else?
So this weekend I was alone at home, well, when I wasn’t doing family stuff for my sister’s graduation.
I had a few movies to watch from Netflix. The first was The Contender which was somewhat interesting but thoroughly disappointing at the end. The second movie I saw, which I have to thank Ryan’s many positive comments for pushing me to watch it, was About a Boy. Although I am far from a Hugh Grant fan I have to say that I really enjoyed this movie, he wasn’t nearly as annoying as he normally is and the plot of this movie was a refreshing change from what I’ve been watching as of late.
As a surprise for Adam when he got home today I got him tickets to see The Fray when they come to the House of Blues next month. And perhaps just as a peace offering so he wouldn’t be mad that I spent a few hundred dollars today at Target and Costco.
Well it’s a busy weekend for graduations. First, Adam’s brother Eric is graduating from Bridgewater College with his Bachelors and will be heading off to grad school. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to go down to Virginia with Adam because this this weekend my sister also graduated from Cleveland State with her Masters of Education. I’m very proud of her because I know how hard she worked to get there and she graduated with a 4.0 from the graduate program.

And then I actually had my Macroeconomics final this weekend and a few assignments to finish up for my first semester back at school. Now I get a week off and then the next semester starts.
I really enjoy Apple’s new commercials in the Get A Mac campaign. I just am afraid they may be a little over the head of the average consumer, but they are clever.
I’m into my last week of classes for my first semester back at school. I have to say that I totally forgot how hard classes can be, especially now when coupled with full-time employment and all my other responsibilities, but it’s definitely been worth it.
Right now I’m sitting here are Starbucks doing some homework and this retinue of WASP soccer moms has just decended around me with their oboxious children. The one woman quite possibly has the most annoying voice ever, I wish she’d go away.
One of the other moms just asked her daugter if she liked to eat Jesus at church. There’s just something so wrong with that statement.
