I feel that certain phones work well when it comes with being comfortable typing an IM message, and those being PDA type devices with. I use a Blackberry, and whenever I chat from it, it’s quite comfortable. So, to answer your question, “Yes”.
By the way, I’m visitng by way of the Mac-Forums site. I’ll be back to visit. Take care!
I use the Motorola A630 too… It rocks. Even some of my business contacts have started going the type instead of talk route. I love it. Try a Qwerty phone. You might like it. There are quite a few now. The A630 just happens to be better… And if your into customizing Motorola and a data cable (or bluetooth) go a long way. Okie. Enjoy.
All the time.

Carla I agree, I think the phone makes all the difference. Maybe I need a Sidekick or Blackberry?
My Moto A630 makes texting and IMing all too convenient, without the additional service expense with Sidekick and Blackberry.
