Adam’s venerable 1994 Honda Accord finally decided to quit working with almost 170,000 miles on it so purchasing a new car was in order. We originally were looking at getting a used Civic but in the end we purchased a brand new 2006 Saturn ION Type 3. I’m very pleased with the choice. I’ll let him blog the details.
Wow, 170,000 miles is a lot…
My Saturn gave me virtually no problems until recently, and it’s 5 years old with 90,000 miles on it. In the past couple months, I’ve had to replace the alternator, ball bearing, get some transmission tweaks done, and replace a belt. Yuck. But with that done, I’m hoping to get several thousand more miles out of it.
I really like my Saturn, and I like the company.
